Business Wire has announced this week that the 48-year-old actress has teamed up with Strayer University to provide online courses that will help boost students’ confidence levels. And following that announcement, the entertainment mogul took to her Instagram to speak to her followers and encourage them to value education.

In the short video clip she shared, the star empowered her followers to believe in themselves.

“Now I know some days are easier than others and when you’re exhausted and you feel like you can’t push anymore, Strayer and I will be there. Because with all the amazing things you already do, there’s no reason you shouldn’t believe in yourself the same way we do.

This news comes in the heels of her recent achievement as an honorary doctorate degree holder of Rutgers University. In her keynote address during her graduation, Latifah thanked the university for helping shape her and said,

“Long before ‘Living Single’ and ‘Set It Off’ and ‘Chicago’, it’s lesson I learned right here at home that made me the person I am.”

Now that she’s joined the ranks of other honorary degree holders Kanye West and LL Cool J, the star is paying it forward by empowering other students to achieve their dreams through education. And there’s no one better to teach them about confidence than “The Queen” herself.
