Although pop star Jennifer Lopez frequently shares photos of herself with her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, she rarely shares pictures of her twins.

The 48-year-old broke her tradition of keeping her children away from the limelight by sharing a throwback picture of her 10-year-old twins, daughter Emme and son Max, on Instagram.

Lopez was married to singer and actor Marc Antony when she gave birth to the twins in 2008. The couple ended their 10-year marriage in 2014.

The World of Dance judge shared an adorable photo of her twins enjoying an environment filled with flowers and greenery. Max wore a yellow sweater as he held his sister in a sweet embrace who had donned a similar sweater of a different color.

As soon as Lopez shared the rare photo of her children, her followership on social media spared no time to shower their love and compliments.

The photo received over a million likes within a day with more than 2,000 comments sharing their adoration for Emme and Max.

One fan, Angel, admired the picture of the doting twins and remarked 'Time flies.' Another follower, Irv Maria, shared heart emoticons and said that that Emme and Max looked beautiful.

One follower, Monica, noted that Max looked like a younger version of his father, Antony, while Emme looked like the younger version of Lopez.

One netizen, Mitchell Morales, gave her blessing to Lopez's beautiful children while another commenter, Zacarius Jessy, said that the twins had amazing parents.

In the past few weeks, Lopez has been using her social media account to promote her dance show, World of Dance.

As reported by Inquisitr, Lopez shed tears in one of the first episodes after seeing a performance by contestants Sean and Kaycee depicting the struggles of a relationship.

The contestants were blindfolded during their performance connoting the idea of 'blind love.' Lopez admitted in the episode to falling for 'blind love' and suffering the consequences of her choices.
