The Roseanne show might get another reboot after being cancelled last week. However, Roseanne Barr fans might need to do without her this time around.

TMZ reported that ABC was considering rebranding the show with one of the main stars. Sara Gilbert would be the focal point of the sitcom if it is rebooted.

Sara Gilbert played Darlene Conner on Roseanne before it was cancelled by ABC. Now the publication's sources have revealed that she might be the main star of a rebranded Roseanne.

It’s said that Gilbert has been calling other cast members to gauge their interest in case ABC gives the reboot the green light. So far, John Goodman (Dan Conner) has been said to be "very interested."

Tom Werner is one of the people involved in the effort to reboot the show with its new star. He produced Roseanne through his company Carsey-Werner.

ABC has also been active in the effort to salvage the jobs of those who were affected by its decision to cancel the show earlier this week. The network is mainly trying to keep the writers and crew.

ABC cancelled Roseanne last week Tuesday after Roseanne Barr tweeted saying President Barack Obama’s former adviser, Valerie Jarrett, was the product of the ‘muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes.’

She deleted the tweet almost immediately after receiving some backlash from co-stars, fans, and other celebrities. For more on this story go to our Twitter account @amomama_usa.
