Tina Lawson reveals she had 'the best time' in Paris with Blue Ivy & gushes about twin grandkids
Tina Knowles-Lawson took a trip to Paris with her adorable grandchildren, and she recently gushed about having the "best time" with Blue Ivy and the twins.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the 64-year-old grandmother shared a bit of how her trip with Blue Ivy went during the Ladylike Luncheon in Beverly Hills this week.
"We had the best time. We did something every day. We went to Disneyland in Paris, we went shopping every day at Galeries Lafayette. She loves that store."
Tina also told the story of how she brought her granddaughter to the Eiffel Tower every day, but not to the top. The doting grandmother would do so not just for the spectacular view, but for a special request by Blue.
"Every day we went to get this donut that she liked, so she's like, I want to see the Eiffel Tower at this time of the day, but really she just wanted a donut. It's a little donut with all these sprinkles. It was terrible, it tasted like paper or Styrofoam, but she loved it."
Just recently, Knowles posted an adorably funny video of her and Blue in a theater in Paris, where Blue could be heard calling her grandma out for slyly filming a video prior to the ballet recital.
"Oh, [she was] busting me. She's calling me out."
According to Tina, it was Blue's thing to "correct at all costs". In the video, she was reinforcing theater rules to Knowles.
"You're not supposed to take videos, grandma. You're not supposed to."
While she has been saying stories of her bonding trip with Blue, Tina was quick to reassure people how delighted she was to be the grandmother of Bey and Jay's twins.
"It's like double the pleasure. They are precious, so beautiful."
Beyonce and Jay-Z, who wed in an extravagant wedding in 2008, welcomed twins Rumi and Sir in June 2017. Meanwhile, they had their eldest daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012, a good four years after they got married.
