Oprah stuns in yellow top and white skirt, stepping out in New York

The influential celebrity is bright and shiny during a recent appearance following news of her latest multi-million purchase.

Oprah Winfrey has many reasons to smile and she proved that when she showed up in New York beaming in a sunny ensemble.

The media mogul appeared ready for summer wearing a bright yellow knit top when she was spotted walking towards her hotel. She matched the V-neck sweater with a white mid-length pleated skirt finished off with a two-toned pair of flat pumps in tan and silver. The 64-year-old parted her hair and tied it in a neat ponytail as she toted a white bag while sporting designer sunglasses.

Winfrey’s latest sighting follows her recent appearance at the CFDA Fashion Awards where she drew attention in a black long-sleeved dress that showcased her cleavage. She took the stage to present Edward Enninful his Media Award.

Also this week, the billionaire television host sealed the deal to purchase a property in Orcas Island to the tune of eight million dollars. The 43-acre property that sits in one of the islands comprising the San Juan Islands archipelago between Seattle and Vancouver boasts of four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a sauna, workshop, a tea room and a guest house.

Winfrey’s latest purchase is now part of her extensive portfolio of properties which include her primary residence in the seaside community of Montecito California where she owns a 42-acre estate she calls The Promised Land and a 23-acre equestrian ranch known as Seamair Farm. In addition, she also has a 1,000-acre property near Kula in the island of Maui as well as a hi-tech ski house in Telluride, Colorado and a 66-acre tract of land nearby.

It’s plain to see why the ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ star chooses to smile these days. She’s tucked in quite a lot of properties with her OWN network to boast.
