Beloved country legend Lorrie Morgan has suffered a devastating loss

Lorrie Morgan's husband used her social media profile to notify the passing of Lorrie's mother, Anna Trainor.

Fans learned about Lorrie's devastating loss from her Facebook page after her husband, Randy White, posted a heartfelt note alongside a few photos of Laurie and her mother Anna on Saturday, June 2.

White mentioned that Anna lost her life unexpectedly in the morning. He said that Anna was and will always be the center of the family.

White added that Anna was a very pious woman and described her to be the closest woman to God. She would pray and say rosaries daily for hours for numerous people including his daughter, Kelley.

White said that Anna was the glue to the Morgan family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

He mentioned that Anna was very color-coordinated and the photos uploaded with the message proved his statement. White was happy for Anna as he believed her to be with her husband, legendary country icon George Morgan.

He concluded his heartfelt message by saying that loved and missed her more than ever. He added that the family was blessed to have her in their lives.

After learning the passing of her mother, she had to cancel her upcoming shows.

After a few days of her mother's passing, Lorrie reached out to her followers and expressed immense gratitude for the love, prayers, and sympathy shared by them towards her and her family.

She shared that she would take time off to greave and connect with her family after the devastating loss and announced her withdrawal from the scheduled performance at the CMA Fest this week.

58-year-old Lorrie was born on June 27, 1959, to country great George Morgan and Anna Morgan. She charted her first single in 1978 but broke into US Country Charts only in 1989 with her single, Trainwreck of Emotion.
