Oprah chose a sunny yellow outfit for 'CBS This Morning'

Talk show mogul Oprah Winfrey stepped out in a bright and sunny yellow outfit for her guest appearance on CBS This Morning.

Winfrey picked a yellow v-neck long-sleeve top for the special appearance on June 5th. She was with CBS This Morning co-host and her dear friend, Gayle King.

King spoke to Winfrey and author Anthony Ray Hinton about Winfrey’s current book club pick which was Hinton’s memoir entitled The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row.

Hinton was charged with 30 years on death row for several crimes he did not commit and was only released in 2015. He chose to tell his story through a book and Winfrey had been working with him to bring attention to his story.

After the morning appearance, Winfrey was spotted in New York arriving back to her hotel with a big smile on her face.

The yellow top she wore seemed to have brought a good mood to the 64-year-old icon.

As for the rest of her summer ensemble, she paired the bright top with a white, long, pleated skirt and tan and silver colored flat pumps

Winfrey also brought with her a white bag and wore gradient-tinted designer sunglasses. Her hair was pulled back in a low ponytail.

For her makeup, she pretty much kept it simple but made sure that her lips were going to stand out with an orange-shaded gloss.

Prior to her recent outing, the star made an appearance at the CFDA Awards where she wore a black, long-sleeves dress.
