'Sons of Anarchy' actor Alan O’Neill has died at 47

Alan O'Neill is an Irish actor who was known for his role on Sons of Anarchy. The star was found dead this week by his girlfriend.

TMZ announced that no foul play was suspected in the actor’s death. An autopsy is being done to determine the actual cause of his death.

Alan O'Neill was 47-years-old when he passed away. Law enforcement revealed that his body was discovered by his girlfriend in the hallway of her Los Angeles apartment on Wednesday night.

The actor also had a history of heart problems and was a heavy smoker. He was known to abuse alcohol and drugs too.

O'Neill's acting career dates back to the 1980s according to his IMDB page. His most famous role was as Hugh on seasons 6 and 7 of Sons of Anarchy.

He also played Keith McGrath in the Irish soap opera Fair City. His other roles included a popular UK show called Inspector George Gently.

O’Neill also had a minor role in the 2016 film Urge. The actor was cast in the upcoming horror film, Charlie Lives: The Family’s Return, which is a horror.

According to his page on the website Cast Annette Now, O’Neill was also an experienced theater actor. He appeared in productions of A Streetcar Named Desire, Hamlet, The Picture of Dorian Grey, and The Importance of Being Earnest.

The actor was also listed as being skilled in a number of athletic activities required for movie or TV roles. These included cycling, fencing, swimming, and the capability of operating different types of firearms.
