Toya Wright shares photo of her big brother and wishes him a happy birthday

Toya took to Instagram to wish her elder brother a happy birthday. The stars, who are complete opposites of each other, enjoy a close relationship.

Toya Wright took to Instagram to wish her brother, Walter ‘Trifelon’ Johnson a happy birthday and to urge fans to buy his book, Lions & Legends. The two have had a strained relationship for quite some time but things seem to be easing up and Toya is supporting her brother especially now that he is behind bars.

The caption to the post that received over 6,900 likes, read; “Happy Birthday to my big brother @walter_trifelon...he told me to tell you guys that the best bday gift would be to purchase a copy of his new book Lions & Legends.”

Fans got on line wishing Johnson a happy one too. “Gm happy birthday Walter i wish you many more to come enjoy your day and tomorrow,” wrote one fan. Another one chimed; “already purchased and read. Great book # a must read. Happy birthday walter.” One of the fans wanted to know when Johnson would be out. “When he getting out? We need the whole family back together.”

In 2014, Johnson was charged with bank robbery charges and incarcerated. From a federal prison, he wrote about his mistakes in the past and the deep regret over implicating rapper Lil Wayne in the past.

“I was young, angry and foolish. We were just a bunch of kids trying to make it on the hardcore streets of New Orleans and there’s never an excuse for violence and this is the reason why I hope Wayne can forgive me. I will always consider him family.”

The memoir, whose full title is titled Lions and Legends: Murder, Music, Mayhem and A Family Secret That Changed Everything has been receiving national attention and is poised to be used in discussions concerning violence.
