Russell Simmons melts hearts with video of daughter Ming on her graduation day

Ming Lee Simmons, daughter of Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons, graduated from high school. Russell took to his Instagram account to share the big news.

His post consisted of a short video that showed Ming wearing a very elegant black dress covered by a red academic regalia and the traditional lei around her neck. One of the aspects that attracted more sights was that Ming was holding the family dog.

The video also showed Kimora helping her daughter with the mortarboard cap, which was also red. As soon as Russell uploaded that post, his fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user Rose Brown, who pointed out that she loved Russell’s positive energy, the person he was, and the father he became.

Apart from that, Brown confessed that Russell radiates peace and positivity. She finally sent her love to him and his family and asked him to keep ‘the love and kindness going.’

In 2017, Ming had a conversation with Teen Vogue, wherein she was asked about many aspects of her future. The 18-year-old woman revealed that Kimora and she considered that collaborating with visual artist (photographers, stylists, hair, and makeup artists) was the best at that time.

Ming also set clear that her priority was going to college. Even though she is really passionate about modeling, she pointed out that school always comes first.

Apart from that, Ming admitted that she would be doing Pre-law in college and, after that, she would have time to do other creative things. She confessed she was looking for colleges in California and New York.

Ming confessed that she has been pushing her mother to add ‘a little more edge’ on her clothing line. She added that she would always share her opinions about clothing design with Kimora and that they would always work together in some capacity.

So far, any member of Ming’s family has said anything about the college she would study at. All that is left to do is wait for them to share the big news.
