'The Haves & Have Nots' Angela Robinson's little niece is her spitting image
Angela Robinson shows her sweet and loving nature as she cuddles her baby niece
Actress Angela Robinson, 54, is justly famous for being one of the most hateful villains on TV - Veronica Harrington on The Haves and the HaveNots.
Her character is a no-holds-barred, vicious, malicious, cold, calculating, manipulative, overbearing woman who wins no prizes for sweetness and light.
Fans used to watching Robinson's masterful portrayal of Veronica Harrington's savage character would be hard put to recognize her in her latest Instagram post.
In her post, she cradles in her arms a smiling happy baby-girl, who is the daughter of Kendra C. Johnson, who plays Linda Love-Harris in the sitcom Love Thy Neighbor. The beautiful baby's name is Ma'at.
Before landing the Veronica Harrington role in The Haves and the HaveNots, Robinson appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as a guest actress.
Robinson graduated from the Florida A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, then headed for Broadway to try her hand at acting.
Robinson won her spurs on such shows as The Color Purple in which she played Shug Avery, and on Off Broadway productions of Dream Girls and The Wizard of Oz.
Robinson is married to actor Scott Whitehurst, and the two have been together for 22 years, but have no children of their own.
