Hilary Duff's son has a unique name for his future baby sister
Hilary Duff talked about how her son Luca reacted to news of being pregnant and expecting a baby girl with her new boyfriend Matthew Koma.
During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Duff revealed how Luca is preparing for his little sister, and apparently, he's already got a name picked out for her that is quite unconventional.
According to E! News, the former Disney star revealed that “We’re up for any kind of suggestions, but Luca thinks Cafont Croissant is, like, the coolest name,” Duff joked.
“When I just refer it as ‘Cafont,’ and I’m like, ‘That would be so cool, nobody at school’s gonna be named Cafont,’ and he’s like, ‘Croissant, Cafont Croissant.’ It, like, goes together, there’s no separating the two,” the star explained.
The host of the show congratulated her and asked how her 6-year-old son had taken the news, “The beginning was a little… he was surprised, and now he’s warming up to the idea,” she recalled.
“I think it’s a girl, but he told his friends at school the other day that he’s having a sister that’s part red-butt monkey, so we’ll see. We never know,” she said of her son that she shares with her ex, Mike Comrie.
She finalized her divorce arrangements with Mike Comrie in 2016, more than two years after their initial split. She and Koma began dating in January 2017. They split in March that same year but fortunately, they reconciled a few months later.
Duff announced on June 8 that she and Koma are expecting their first child together, sharing a sweet photo to Instagram of the two kissing along with a message saying the couple “couldn’t be more excited” about having “made a little princess of our own.”
Koma shared the same sweet picture and wrote: "We made a baby girl! She will be as beautiful and sweet as her mother ... @hilaryduff another incredible chapter begins." Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa.
