Samuel L. Jackson makes public appearance with wife of 38 years at 'Incredibles 2' premiere

Actor and film producer Samuel L. Jackson took to Instagram and shared a photo showing himself and his longtime wife LaTanya Richardson.

The couple’s outing took place on June 5 as they attended the Incredibles 2 premiere in Hollywood. Jackson’s outfit attracted a lot of attention as he put on a purple suit that had reddish stripes all over it.

He matched his unconventional suit with a black T-shirt that had a white design at the bottom, rounded black sunglasses, and a beret hat. Richardson, on the other hand, opted for a more conservative outfit.

She put on a black top covered by a matching blazer and black and white pants that had a dot pattern all over it. Apart from her big and shiny rings, her two cross necklaces were the most striking pieces of clothing Richardson wore.

Jackson, who voiced Lucius Best (also known as Frozone) in both Incredibles films, set clear how excited he was by attending the movie’s premiere as he finished the caption of his photo with the word ‘Hurahhhh,’ followed by detonating bombs and heart emoji.

Instagram user Anthony Merriweather took to the comment section to say that Jackson and Richardson were aging backward.

As The Undefeated reported, the premiere of Incredibles 2 started in a tented area near El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, where the studio hired a number of jugglers, acrobats, and other performers to entertain the public.

Apart from that, there were many meals and desserts, including macaroni and cheese, chicken corn dogs, chocolate-dipped Rice Krispies treats, candied apples, and flavored snow cones.

The Undefeated confessed that when the premiere ended, it was obvious that the almost 14-year wait was worth it as the crowd did nothing but applaud and praise the movie.

It was different from most premieres as the director didn’t open the ceremony with a speech and any member of the cast was called onstage to talk to the public. It was just like if Pixar wanted to let the movie speak for itself.

Incredibles 2 will be released on June 15.
