She was still a pre-teen when the show ended over half a decade ago, but now she is looks like any other normal girl enjoying her teen years.

Desperate Housewives aired its final episode in May 2012, and since then the cast has all gone on with their separate lives, including the children of the series who have since done some growing up.

Madison De La Garza, who played sassy little Juanita Solis, appeared in the series from 2008, when she was just seven years old, until the very end of the show's run.

But a recent Instagram post shared by the youngster to her account shows just how much she has changed in the six years since the finale aired

She shared the sweet image of herself and a friend with the lovely caption: "every day is best friends day."

And De La Garza certainly looks very different to the little girl who last appeared on screen as the daughter of Gaby (Eva Longoria) and Carlos Solis (Ricardo Antonio Chavira).

Since Desperate Housewives ended, De La Garza hasn't exactly been racking up the acting credits.

She made a single appearance in an episode of Good Luck Charlie on Disney Channel, guest starred in seven episodes of Bad Teacher, two episodes of American Koko, and six episodes of Muertoons.

She also appeared in Caged No More in 2016, and in Gnome Alone in 2017. De La Garza also has a YouTube channel with 33,000 subscribers.

Presumably, the teenager has been finishing school in the interim.

De La Garza, who turned 16 at the beginning of December 2017, made an appearance in her half-sister Demi Lovato's Instagram stories enjoying her birthday party.

Since then, she has also shared a photo to her own Instagram of herself all dressed up for prom. The teen opted for a short black dress with a long train down the back.

While she did wear a dress, she paired it with a pair of lace-up, high-top sneakers. She also picked out a black nail polish to complement the rest of her dark attire.
