Kim Kardashian posts photo of daughter North along with touching message to her on 5th birthday
The little girl was celebrating her birthday, and as per usual her mother pulled out all the stops for the big day.
North West turned 5 years old on June 15, and her mother, reality television star Kim Kardashian, took her and some friends to the ice cream parlor CoolMess in New York City for some tasty treats to celebrate.
This is not the first of the birthday celebrations for the 5-year-old, who has been having a party for over a week already. On June 3, West and her cousin, Penelope Disick, had a unicorn-themed joint birthday party.
On the actual day, Kardashian shared an Instagram photo of her daughter from the party, wearing a rainbow robe to match her cousin's and a unicorn horn.
"My baby girl turns 5 today. Never did I think back then that I would have my best friend for life! I’m so honored to be your mom Northie! You have brought more joy into my world than I ever could have imagined. I can’t believe your so big now! The luckiest girl in the world to be best friends with your cousins and have the most magical parties together! I love you so much birthday girl! P.S. Now that you’re 5, don’t you think it’s the mature thing to try to be nice to your brother now!?!" she wrote.
At CoolMess, Kardashian shared a number of Instagram stories, revealing that they had chosen two different ice cream flavors for the day: chocolate and vanilla.
In the vanilla ice cream, they threw oreos and gummy bears. The chocolate ice cream was garnished with chocolate pretzels, M&Ms, marshmallows and Oreos.
The proud momma also shared that her daughter had been sent some incredible gifts, most notably two handbags from Alexander Wang, which Kardashian herself contemplated nicking.
