Michelle Obama stuns in green wide-leg trousers and white shirt on lunch date

Amid her busy schedule and passionate endeavors, Michelle Obama breezes into her lunch meeting looking cool and summery in a trendy suit.

Michelle Obama channeled casual chic on Tuesday when she was spotted on a business lunch date in Los Angeles.

The former first lady was in the mood for business casual attending a meeting over lunch at Gjelina restaurant in Venice. She opted for pastel shades for her outing, rocking light green wide-leg trousers and a green-and-white striped suit jacket. She matched her coordinated outfit with a cleavage-baring white top and sandals clearly projecting the summer vibe. To complement her breezy look, she wore a pair of pastel pink sunglasses and accessorized with a pair of hoop earrings, proving what a fashionable woman she can truly be

It’s unclear what her meeting was about but it could be one of many things she’s recently involved in. For starters, she and her husband Barrack Obama just entered into a multi-year production partnership with Netflix. Through the couple’s newly created ‘Higher Ground Productions,’ they’ve signed a deal to produce content for the popular streaming site to include scripted and unscripted series, documentaries and features highlighting themes and issues pursued by the former president during his leadership.

Michelle is also currently preparing for the release of her memoir ‘Becoming’ which is set to hit bookstands in November. The book will chronicle her journey from the South Side of Chicago to the White House. Describing her experience penning her story, Michelle revealed,

“It has allowed me, for the very first time, the space to honestly reflect on the unexpected trajectory of my life. In this book, I talk about my roots and how a little girl from the South Side of Chicago found her voice and developed the strength to use it to empower others. I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. I can’t wait to share my story.”

Finally, Michelle is currently passionate about the plight of immigrant families suffering under the strict immigration policies enforced by Trump’s administration. She joined four other former first ladies including Melania Trump in voicing out their horror over immigrant families being torn apart at the US-Mexico border. She shared Laura Bush’s tweet condemning the Trump administration, writing,

“Sometimes truth transcends party.”

In her tweet, Bush wrote,

“I live in a border state. I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.”

With so much going on with her, it’s amazing how Michelle can look as stunning and carefree as she did at lunch. Clearly, the woman has style and sensibility, two of many traits that make her one of the most endearing first ladies in history.
