Tennis legend Serena Williams put on a beautiful pink dress to attend the mural-reveal event that the Purple Purse organization did in New York City.

The Instagram account of the organization uploaded a photo where Williams was seen next to one of the members of Purple Purse. The tennis player wore a form-fitted, mid-length, pink dress that had no sleeves.

In the image, Williams was seen using her phone to take a selfie of that moment. In the caption, the organization affirmed they were proud to have Williams as program ambassador when they revealed their new mural in NYC.

They added that Williams and the organization teamed up to make the ‘invisible weapon of financial abuse visible,’ and urged people to visit their website.

Williams also used her Instagram account to share a photo during the event. In it, a photographer captured the moment when she was taking a selfie alone right in front of the mural, which has words like ‘Financial Abuse,’ and ‘Hide’

In the caption, Williams confessed to being proud to help the organization and their national street art campaign to make financial abuse visible. Finally, she urged people to visit their website to learn how ‘sharing the invisible can give victims a safe way out.

That event took place a couple of days after Williams and her family went to Disneyland. For the special outing, Williams, her mother, her husband Alexis Ohanian, and their daughter Olympia enjoyed a fun day at the theme park in Paris.

As Celebritist previously reported, it was the first time that Olympia visited Disneyland and even though she might not remember doing so, the rest of the family had a great time.

Williams, who put her tennis career on hold due to her pregnancy, went back to the court earlier this month for the French Open. Unfortunately, she was forced to quit due to muscle pain.

The injury was so severe that she couldn’t even serve, which is one of the crucial aspects of the sport. She is still recovering at the moment while enjoying her time with her family.
