'Game of Thrones' stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie tie the knot

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie got married at Kirkton of Rayne, in Scotland in a private ceremony attended by friends and family.

The Game of Thrones stars said 'I do' on Saturday, June 23, 2018. It was a very traditional wedding despite the fact that many of the guests were well-known faces from Hollywood.

Even though it was a private ceremony, pictures of the bride and groom still found their way to Instagram, especially on Instagram where fans and followers were able to admire Harington and Leslie's special day.

31-year-old Leslie looked beautiful as she walked in a delicate long-sleeved lacy dress with a floral Garland and a very long white veil adorning her head.

Harington looked as sharp as ever, formally dressed in a black jacket, a cream-colored vest over a white shirt with a black tie and a pair of striped gray pants.

Among the famous guests were Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams. Turner appeared in a red suit dress and over-the-knee black boots, while Williams opted for a black jumpsuit and red high heels.

Peter Dinklage, who recently starred in Avengers: Infinity War and has won two Emmys and a Golden Globe for his performance on Game of Thrones, was also in attendance.

After the romantic wedding, Harington and Leslie, who got engaged back in September of 2017, happily joined their guests at Wardhill Castle for the reception.

Although the ceremony went without a hitch, Harington admitted having changed his proposal plans at the last minute during an interview with Jonathan Ross at the Jonathan Ross Show in October.

According to the actor, he had planned on decorating some trees with lights in order to create a romantic setting but ended proposing to Leslie next to a bonfire and under a beautiful night sky, which also turned to be very magical.
