Mo'Nique turns heads in colorful midi dress with double straps after incredible weight loss

The star continues to inspire others who aim to lose weight as she flaunted a body-hugging, midi dress as revealed on her social media page.

Mo’Nique recently shared photos of herself wearing a midi dress with double straps following her weight loss journey.

The dress was black with an orange-and-yellow pattern design in front. Mo'Nique paired the outfit with black heels and minimal jewelry with only a ring and a pair of earrings. Her hair was in a tight bun.

In one of her posts, she wrote on the caption, ‘Don't be afraid of pushing yourself pass your limits. It pays off. Sisters, it is possible. Love, love, love y’all.’

Even though she is now 50 years old, she looks youthful and glowing.

In March 2018, Mo’Nique shared that it had been 33 years since her weight was under 200 pounds and for her, it was a big accomplishment.

According to Arsenio, via Black Doctor, Mo’Nique revealed that what her husband said in the past was one of the main reasons why she chose to live a healthier lifestyle.

She shared that her husband, Sidney Hicks, once asked her weight. She responded and her husband said it was too much.

Mo’Nique said that her husband told her, “That’s too much weight. I want you around for a lifetime and that’s not healthy.”

At that point, she made it her mission to turn her life around and start eating healthy.

She shared how she felt guilty because “she never felt love like that before.”

Because of what her husband said, she was determined to save her life, and now, all her hard work has finally paid off.
