Cori Broadus is the only daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, and she’s already following her dad steps into the industry, the only difference is that she’s a singer, and has a fantastic voice. The girl just turned 19 and she’s looking more fabulous than ever.

Being part of a hip-hop royal family, one would think that Cori Broadus grew up being confident about herself, but the truth is that the girl learned how to embrace her beauty just a few years ago. Cori confessed in a video posted to her Instagram that she was always cyberbullied because of her skin tone, and she used to cry to her mom about being dark skinned.

However, Cori, who was diagnosed with Lupus when she was a little girl, learned to turn around the critics and made her insecurities her source of empowerment. She professed to the world a message of self-confidence and love last year after shaving her hair, writing on a now-deleted Instagram post:

“I can finally say I’m comfortable in my own skin, grew up disposing of the skin tone I was in because it’s been bashed for so long & society has been pitting in our heads that dark is ugly. For all you beautiful chocolate girls/women out there you’re BEAUTIFUL & don’t let anyone tell you different. –Cori B.”

A few days ago, Cori celebrated her 19th birthday, and she shared a stunning photo on her Instagram wearing a black top that puts her cleavage on display and matching tiny shorts. Cori was enjoying the sun in a wicker chair as she rocked her short hair with no makeup on her face.

“Just very blessed to make it to 19!! Thank you, everyone, for the birthday wishes,” she wrote in her caption.

The talented girl just released her first single under the artistic name CHOC, and she’s already earning lots of fans thanks to her incredible vocal talent.

Cori has come a long way in her short life. The girl has been battling lupus since she was a little girl, but with the support of her parents, Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus, she has been able to stand victorious against the autoimmune disease that makes her hair fall and has her weight continually fluctuating.

The young lady is an example to many girls out there, and we wish her all the success with her new musical career.
