Edwina Findley is better known for her role as Kelly Isaacs, a single and working mom of a teenager named Justice in OWN’s series “If Loving You Is Wrong.” She also made appearances on series like “The Wire,” “Shots Fired,” “Fear the Walking Dead,” and most recently “Black Lightning.”

The 37-years-old beauty became a mom in November 2016, when her first daughter Victoria Rose was born. The girl is the first child of Edwina and her husband of six years, Kelvin Dickerson, an advertising executive and time-management consultant.

On Father’s Day, Edwina shared an exclusive clip on Instagram that shows her husband and their adorable little girl having a father-daughter moment. Kelvin is seen holding Victoria, who’s wearing an all-pink outfit, and doting on her by giving her kisses. The girl was amused as she giggles and lets her father keep on holding her.

On her caption, Findley wrote a sweet message for Kelvin, revealing what a fantastic father he is as she said:

“The LOVE between a Daddy & A Daughter is the Sweetest Blessing in the whole wide world! @KelvinDickerson Thank you for being such a PHENOMENAL #Father to Victoria Rose. She could never DREAM of having a Daddy as AMAZING as you.”

Edwina also took the time to thank her father for being a blessing in her life, just weeks after she and her family suffered a major loss.

On March 15, the actress shared a beautiful photo that reunites three generations in one frame. In the pic, she’s holding little Victoria, who’s smiling to her great-grandmother, Edwina’s grandma, on her birthday. The lady was celebrating her 98th birthday and had the pleasure of having the baby around to fill her with joy.

Unfortunately, on June 2, Edwina shared some sad news with her followers when she posted a pic of her family dressed in all black, except Victoria who was wearing pink, as they walked together to celebrate her grandma’s life after her passing.

She explained in the caption of her photo:

“My family came together this week to celebrate the life of a QUEEN.. my dear, sweet GRANDMA..98 years young. She was my complete INSPIRATION. The most REGAL lady you’d ever want to know, whip-smart, loved unconditionally, cared about her community, loved her family and friends fiercely.”

Adding:

“She was an educator, an activist, a “race woman”.. one of the first #DeltaSigmaTheta at #HowardUniversity and was in the doctoral program at #ColumbiaUniversity in NYC, (where she met my grandfather!). And though she could run circles around any man she met, she had a humble grace, a gentle spirit.. she spoke with wisdom and love, was overflowing with patience and forgiveness, often in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges. God, I loved her! She would always joke that her “next zero will be 100!”.. and it WILL, Grammy, just on the other side. With All My Love, “Candy.”

Despite her loss, Edwina is still in high spirits, perhaps because her grandma was able to have a fulfilling life and she got to know little Victoria. May the lady rest in peace.
