Monica Brown stuns in white shirt dress with 'brother' Offset at his and Cardi B's baby shower

Cardi B and Offset, the most talked about couple of rappers of the moment, are weeks away from welcoming their baby daughter, so they celebrated with a lavish baby shower. Monica Brown, a close friend of the Migos’ rapper, was there with her husband to celebrate with the couple.

Sometimes we tend to forget that the hip-hop world is pretty small, and some of the friendships that are formed in that circle can be surprising. On Tuesday, for example, we found out that Monica Brown and Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephu, have a pretty close relationship, to the point that the singer referred to him as her “brother.”

The 37-years-old stunning mother of three looked stunning wearing a white shirt dress with a striped pink and white coat over it that she paired with see-through high heels. She completed the look with white Celine sunglasses, a white purse, and a vintage watch that she said is “older than my firstborn.”

Joined by her husband, NBA player Shannon Brown, Monica showed off her outfit posing in front of a white vehicle as she held hands with the man before heading to the star-studded baby shower. She took the chance to write a heartfelt message about their relationship on her Instagram post, saying:

“We don’t play about each other; we enjoy playing with each other. Picture 2 is us all day... Live Laugh Love.”

In the second picture of her slideshow, Shannon seems to be holding Monica’s belly, and since there were rumors earlier this year about the singer being pregnant with her fourth child, fans are going rampant on her comment section asking questions about the simple gesture.

Brown hasn’t addressed the rumors, and since it’s been months and she doesn’t seem to be sporting a baby bump in her latest photos, is safe to say that there’s no baby on the way.

But she was more than happy to celebrate the impending arrival of Cardi and Offset’s first kid, and she showed her excitement and pride by posing next to the Migos’ rapper in a beautiful shot where both are smiling that she captioned:

“No better person to experience this level of joy! My brother @offsetyrn I’m happy for you & appreciate you asking my family to join yours in such a sacred celebration! Blessings !! The Nawf with The Soufside... #NoTypo.”

The 26-years-old rapper and his baby mama recently confirmed that they married in secret last September, one month before he proposed in front of a crowd of thousands with a beautiful diamond ring. TMZ broke the news by posting a marriage certificate, and Cardi took to Twitter to confirm it.

The royal couple of hip-hop was in good spirits as they flashed their smiles next to Monica and Shannon, and the singer had only good wishes and blessing for the pair, writing:

“Congratulations @offsetyrn & @iamcardib ... You did this love thing the best way!! YOUR WAY!! May God Bless you & your bundle of joy!!”
