'He raised these kids right,' Prince Jackson slams grandpa Joe's critics in emotional rant
Prince Jackson, one of Michael Jackson’s children, used his Instagram Stories to defend his grandfather, Joe Jackson, who passed away on June 27.
The Shade Room uploaded a compilation of three videos that Prince uploaded addressing all those people who have been sharing negative comments about Joe.
One of the most impressive aspects of the videos is that Prince was cursing a lot, something that he doesn’t do publicly that much. When Joe passed away, people started talking about his past and the way he raised his children.
According to Page Six, Joe was known for his ruthless drive to turn his children into stars. During several interviews, he confessed to having beaten his kids with a belt buckle and a switch.
Even though it was his way to raise their children so they could be the celebrities they were, several people consider it was not the best thing to do at that time or at any time.

LaToya Jackson, one of Joe’s daughters, revealed in her 1991 memoir that her father sexually abused her and her sister Rebbie. All those stories from the patriarch’s past made several people despise him, and they made their feelings public even after Joe’s passing.
For that reason, Prince took to Instagram to defend him and to attack people who blame Joe’s parenting skills. Prince said that Joe had raised his children right; otherwise, they would have been in ‘gangs’ or ‘dead.’
Finally, Prince said that any of Joe’s detractors would be as great as his grandfather was. Earlier in the video, the 21-year-old music video producer revealed that he would upload a video to his YouTube channel about Joe.
However, it was not the only thing Prince did to pay his tribute to his grandfather. Soon after Joe passed away, he uploaded a photo to his Instagram account and wrote in the caption that Joe was an example of sheer willpower and dedication.
