'Long Island Medium' star officially divorced after 28 years of marriage

Theresa Caputo, the star of Long Island Medium, and her husband, Larry Caputo, are finally getting a divorce after 28 years of marriage.

Initially, the former couple announced their separation back in December 2017, and four months later, on April 16, 2018, Theresa filed for divorce, but now the process seems to be nearing its completion.

According to People, who claims to have exclusively interviewed the TLC stars, the divorce is the end of an era but that they will never stop loving each other and their children, Larry Jr. and Victoria.

Despite the legal separation, Theresa and Larry will always find comfort and support in each other. Even though they are no longer together, they still respect one another and are determined to keep it that way.

Now that they are in a new chapter of their lives, they have decided to move forward and, during an April interview with Extra, the Long Island medium revealed that they were living on opposite coasts.

While she is living in New York City, Larry is residing in Los Angeles. A few months ago, they were still processing the break-up and were taking their relationship, including a possible reconciliation, 'day by day.'

A month later, in May, 61-year-old Larry was interviewed by TMZ in Santa Monica, California, where he revealed that he had moved on and found someone new.

According to him, 'the separation was a three-month trial,' during which they would rethink their priorities and draw their conclusions on whether it was worth it or not to get back together.

Now that the divorce process is almost complete, the only certainty is that Theresa and Larry will try to make the best out of the situation and put the past behind them, which was why they asked for their privacy to be respected.
