When news hit the internet that Rihanna split with her boyfriend Hassan Jameel after one year, many thought that would've been the last they'd hear from him. However, it seems the couple is still very much together after going on a steamy Mexican getaway.

Rihanna has kept her one year romance with Saudi Arabian billionaire Hassan Jameel under wraps, barely being seen out together in public. That's why when rumors started swirling that the two have broken up, fans around the world believed it to be true since they have not been spotted together in quite a while.

However, as previously reported by Hollywood Life, the 30-year-old singer and her businessman beau were spotted getting cozy with one another in Mexico over the weekend. While lounging on an outdoor bed, it seemed like the couple was in the middle of a heated conversation as Riri pointed out her index finger in the air with her mouth open. In another picture, Hassan has his hand on his chest while looking back at her, as if he was insulted by something she had said

About a month ago, numerous media outlets, such as HL claimed that Rihanna had gotten tired of her boyfriend and dumped him. Since Rihanna barely ever comments about their relationship and keeps their relationship away from the public eye, it was easy for fans to believe such news.

Now that recent photos of them surfaced together, it is quite clear that their relationship is still on-going. They have only been photographed together a handful of times, and this one was a treat for people who have been curious about their secret love affair. Their first sighting was in Spain a year ago, where they were photographed kissing each other in a pool.

Prior to her relationship with Jameel, Rihanna previously dated Drake, 31. That particular relationship was extremely public, with the rapper even professing his love for the singer while presenting her with the "Video Vanguard" award at the 2016 VMAs. Since she knew how that relationship did not play out so well, Riri has been wise to keep her romance with the Saudi Arabian as far out of the public eye as possible.

In a May 2018 interview with Vogue, Rihanna assured people that she is now very happy with her relationship.

"I used to feel guilty about taking personal time, but I also think I never met someone who was so worth it before."

Go get it, girl!
