'The Player's Club' star LisaRaye McCoy gets engaged on ABC's 'The Proposal'

Some people would go through great lengths just to find love, and that is exactly what LisaRaye McCoy did. The actress joined ABC's "The Proposal", and is now engaged!

Ahead of its most recent episode, the 51-year-old actress dropped some hints about her connection to the show. She eventually revealed to her fans that she would be on the show looking for her "Mr. Right".

During her episode on the show, LisaRaye's identity was kept anonymous til the final minutes of the program. "The Proposal" works in a way that a group of individuals compete for theaffections of one lucky person, who they do not get to see or even hear from until it's time to propose or be proposed to.

The men unknowingly trying to get her affections travel from all around the country and the world, to get to Los Angeles, where she is based. These men then share their personal stories, and were grilled by McCoy's daughter Kai.

Eventually, two men caught LisaRaye's eye: Adonis from Miami, and Anthony from her hometown Chicago. Both men tried to sweep her off her feet with their words, but it was the 44-year-old sales representative and poet Anthony that she chose to marry.

“I’ve been married before, and it ended not so well. And you would think I would be tainted by that. Except it really made me go more towards love. I am looking for someone who’s looking for that special someone. That really is a fan of love and believes in love.”

After sharing that she has gone through the phase of online dating and sharing stories over drinks at happy hour, Lisa might have finally found her perfect match through the TV show. So far, Anthony seems to have gotten more comfortable with his wife-to-be as well.

Anthony popped the question in Chicago as he promised on the show, during a viewing party for their episode with their family and friends.

Like the model, Anthony Bryant is also a divorcee and a parent. Meanwhile, LisaRaye was married twice, with Tony Martin from 1992 to 1994, and Michael Misick from 2006 to 2008.
