Remember Calvin Dobbs from '227'? He's now 50 and shared pic of his wife & kids
The American actor's most notable role came from the mid-1980's, over three decades ago. Today, he is a family man with a wife and children, and has even taken on a completely different career.
Curtis Baldwin, who broke onto the acting scene in 1985 on 227 playing Calvin Dobbs, the young man that Regina King's character, Brenda, had a crush on and later in the series even ended up dating on camera.
But Baldwin has a very different life now. At 50 years old, the actor is now married, and he and his wife have a son and a baby daughter together.
On Mother's Day, Baldwin took to Instagram to share a photo of his wife and two children, looking relaxed at home.
He captioned the image by wishing her a happy Mother's Day.
In the image, his wife was leaning back on the rug, with their son cuddling up into her side as their daughter lay on her stomach. All three were looking up at the camera, but Baldwin's baby girl seemed perplexed by the camera.
He also shared another photo of his son, just a week later.
"My Bestos buddy growing up so fast," Baldwin captioned the sweet photo.
The little boy was smiling in the shot as he sat in the passenger seat of their car. One fan commented on the post, recognizing the likeness between Baldwin and his son.
After Baldwin's run on 227 from 1985 to 1990, he moved on to Family Matters. In 1996, he appeared in an episode of Moesha.
These days, the actor isn't appearing on the small-screen anymore. He moved on to a recording studio producing under the name RahRizo. He also performs as a stand up comedian.
