Tina Lawson shows off 'awkward shoulder move' while dancing to Beyoncé's new song in recent video
Tina Lawson, best known as Beyoncé’s mother, took to Instagram to share a video of herself dancing in a competition versus her granddaughter.
In the video, the 64-year-old businesswoman appeared on a small dock wearing a long, loose dress while Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s latest hit titled Apes**t was playing in the background.
When the music started, Tina started dancing following the rhythm and singing a couple of lines from time to time. One of the most remarkable moves she did was her ‘awkward shoulder move,’ as she labeled it.
For the caption, Tina revealed that she made it up and that the video was part of her dance-off with Beyoncé’s eldest daughter six-year-old Blue Ivy. Tina finished by saying that Blue ‘killed it.’
As soon as that video was uploaded, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user McFarland, who pointed out that it was clear now where Beyoncé got her dancing skills from.
That recording was uploaded a couple of months after Tina got ‘busted’ by her own granddaughter when she was shooting a video for his Instagram account inside of a theatre in Paris, France.
The video portrayed Tina saying that she was at the ‘most beautiful theatre’ she had ever been. After that, she turned the camera as to give her followers a better look of the marvelous theatre when Blue, who wasn’t on camera, said: ‘You’re not supposed to take videos grandma.’
Tina didn’t seem to listen (or just opted for ignoring what her granddaughter said) and kept recording. However, Blue chimed in again and repeated: ‘You’re not supposed to!’
At the moment, both Tina and Blue are traveling through Europe with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who are on the European leg of their On The Run II tour, which began in Cardiff, Wales, on June 6 and is set to finish in Nice, France, on July 17.
