The Sun: Meghan Markle's father believes that she has been under 'too much pressure'
Thomas Markle Sr., the father of the current Duchess of Sussex, believes that his daughter hasn't been very happy since she joined the Royal Family, and that it has been hard for her to fit in.
On Sunday, July 15, 2018, the 73-year-old shared that he knows his daughter and that he could see through her smile that she has been finding it difficult to adjust to being a royal.
During an exclusive interview with The Sun, Markle Sr. claimed that Meghan has been masking her feelings behind a smile, which he considers to be a very painful one.
According to the concerned father, Meghan is struggling to cope with her royal duties since they differ so much from her responsibilities as a bubbly TV actress.

“I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile. I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now. That might be just having a couple of bad days. I don’t know. It really worries me. I think she’s under too much pressure."

Markle Sr. also took the opportunity to describe the Royal Family's traditions and dress code as 'outdated.' He believes that it makes absolutely no sense for the Royals to dress like they were in the 1930s while in 2018.
The 73-year-old, who is usually seen wearing jeans and a polo shirt, shared that the Royal Family's dress code ha nothing to do with Meghan's own style and that she didn't look like herself, rather than 'something out of an old movie.'
Markle Sr. revealed that he might die soon from his heart condition, and that he would love to be able to talk to his daughter again, something he hasn't been able to do since he was caught in the staged pictures scandal, as well as the interview that he gave to Good Morning Britain.
The former Hollywood lighting director complained that the Royal Family has shunned him because he made a profit out of them, something that he considers unfair given the fact that the tabloids do it all the time without suffering the consequences.
