A user, Shari Cunningham, wrote that the choice of the outfit was ‘pushing it’ for the birthday celebration, ‘I have a feeling she’s going to push the limits a little too much?!’

Many defended the 36-year-old and said that they did not find anything wrong with it. One user reminding everyone that even Kate Middleton, Princess Diana, and the Queen herself had worn off-the-shoulder outfits in the past.

A defender of the newly-assigned Duchess said that the ‘American Princess’ was the epitome of class, beauty, and style.

Meghan rode a carriage with her husband, Prince Harry, during the grand military parade that featured 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians.

She also had a titled hat matching her dress, while she left her long wavy locks down.

The Duchess of Sussex will soon get busy with her public engagement, with her an outing scheduled in Chesire with the Queen. The two will travel by Royal Train for their day-long affair.

It was not the first time the Duchess was criticized for her choice of the outfit. During her recent visit to Ireland, she sported a long-sleeved grey Roland Mouret dress with a boat neckline, asymmetrical hemline, and sash skirt.

The video clip shared by Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account showed Meghan had accessorized with a black Fendi handbag and matching black heels.

Users on Twitter opined that Meghan had committed a major fashion blunder. A user, Karen, said that the unflattering color, accompanied by the wrong brasserie for the specific cut was a ‘fashion fail.’

Her fans came to her rescue again with one user, Joyous, explaining that the boatneck dresses may have bra cups sewn in because it seemed like ‘she’s wearing a bra in this dress.’

Meghan wore a little black dress by Emilia Wickstead when she attended a garden party at the British Ambassadors official residence in Dublin on July 10, 2018.
