Search continues for missing 17-year-old
Lindsey Trosper has been missing for nearly a month, but her friends refuse to give up hope and have distributed more than 2,00 flyers in their search.
As reported by NBC4i two of her friends had been hanging the flyers everywhere. "The Westside, The Bottoms, over off Williams and Groveport Road," and they intend to keep going.
Charles Williams said on Facebook if anybody wants to help distribute the flyers to please reach out to him over the social media network.
'As today I met personally with her younger sister and younger brother and her dog. Today, at their home and they are all just kinda [sic] going through the motions.'
Charles Williams, Facebook, July 13, 2018.
Trosper went missing after leaving her Madison Township home and was last seen wearing a gray tank top and pajama bottoms. Read more on our Twitter, AmoMama USA.
Her family confirmed that her purse and phone is also missing, but her phone hasn't been used since the day after she disappeared. The exact time was 2:15 am on June 19.
A purchase wa made with her card at the Speedway in Columbus, and the card was last used nine times on June 20 at a mobile scanner. Since then, the trail has gone cold.
Her father, Andrew, said on Facebook that her card was used by a man named George Kelly, who admits to using the card. He claims to have had no contact with Trosper since June 20.
Her family are concerned for her welfare and believe that she ran away with a man who 'does not have her best interest at heart.' They fear that the suspect 'groomed her' into leaving with him.
Anybody with information about Trosper's whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or the Madison Township Police Department on (614) 836-9000 or (614) 836-5355.
