NCIS has finally found a permanent replacement for Pauley Perrette’s former character Abby Sciuto. CBS announced on Wednesday that actress Diona Reasonover would be taking over.

According to the network’s Twitter, the actress has been accepted full time for season 16. She will play the character of Kasie Hines.

CBS announced that the new full-time forensic scientist for NCIS would be Diona Reasonover. Her character, Kasie Hines, was initially introduced in season 15, episode 17.

Reasonover first appeared on the show in the episode that aired in March 2018. At the time, she starred as a graduate assistant to David McCallum’s Ducky.
