The religious event served as 2-month-old Louis’ was seen in public since the day of his birth and it also marked the first time that Prince William and Kate Middleton appear with their three children for an official act, according to WWD.

For the special occasion, Middleton chose to wear a cream-colored dress by Alexander McQueen, featuring a structured shoulder detail and a high V-neckline, adhering to her well-tested signature style, as People reported.

But instead of the accustomed fascinator, the mother-of-three wore a headpiece design by Jane Taylor. She completed the look with a pair of pearl earrings and kept her hair back. For footwear, she donned champagne-colored high heels.

Kensington Palace shared a video on its official Twitter account showing the Royals arriving at St James’s Palace’s Chapel Royal. Middleton’s stunning outfit can be appreciated there. Read more on our Twitter, @amomama_usa.

The 36-year-old’s style for the event echoed her style choices of the christenings of her older children, Prince George in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015.

As The Sun reported, the newborn’s great-grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip were not present for the ceremony as they were busy traveling back from Norfolk.

The Duchess’ sister Pippa Matthews and their brother James represented Middleton side of the family. Their parents, Carole and Michael were also there.

Prince Louis was baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and as Marie Claire noted, the baby wore the exact same outfit his older siblings wore for their christening ceremonies.

The lace gown was made by the Queen’s dressmaker Angela Kelly. Louis is actually the eight royal baby to wear the historic piece of clothing.

Now that this family milestone is over with, Prince William and Duchess Kate are reportedly on their first holiday trip since welcoming their third child. They have apparently chosen the island of Mustique as their destination.

The family-of-five will be celebrating their oldest son Prince George’s fifth birthday in the privacy of this small and secluded island. They were spotted arriving in St. Lucia to board a private flight to the Caribbean island.
