Brandy showcases fuller curves in black & white jumpsuit after recent weight gain

After facing pregnancy rumors for her conscious weight gain, Brandy Norwood is proving she not only gained a few pounds but also lots of confidence. The beautiful mother of one is rocking her curves, and she clearly has inspired her daughter on a self-love journey.

Singer and actress Brandy is back on our TV screens through the FOX’s series “Star,” where she gives life to Cassie Brown, the younger sister of Queen Latifah’s character.

The 39-years-old is looking better than ever, and she shared a picture on Instagram showing off her curves in order to promote the new season of the show.

In the pic, Brandy is standing in front of a mirror offering her backside to the camera as she stares deeply into the lens through her reflection. She’s rocking a black and white patterned jumpsuit that hugs her body tightly, enhancing her curvaceous figure, and black heels.

“#Cassie back with a #bootytrap @staronfox,” she wrote in her caption, earning praises from her thousands of followers in her comment section.

Instagram user @lovelybird1985 wrote “Brandy looking good thick and all keep it up,” and @justsafi added “Those curves look good on you. WERKKKKK!!!”

Just a few months ago, Brandy had to put rumors of a pregnancy to rest after fans noticed her figure was looking thicker and more curvaceous than ever.

Speaking to True Exclusives, she explained that it was a conscious decision to gain some weight after following a very strict diet for seven years in a row.

She said,

“I went on a foodcation because I’d been eating clean for like seven-something odd years, in the gym, every day, playing tennis. I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m tired of this crazy discipline. I need something to eat! I want some pizza, I want some pasta, I want some cake! I want something other than salmon, broccoli and asparagus, and water.”

But despite all the comment about her new figure, Brandy doesn’t want to go back to her old skinny self as she confessed,

“I didn’t have any boobs and I don’t have the butt I have now. I want to keep some of that. I just want a flat stomach and that’s it. Because I don’t want to be looking pregnant if I’m not."

Is clear that Brandy’s self-confidence has rubbed off on her 16-years-old daughter, Sy’rai Smith, who has a clear picture of what self-love is and has been sharing her wisdom with other kids.

“There can be a beautiful person in a beautiful body, but on the inside, they can be so ugly. I’m not the skinniest. If you really want to change, change because you really want to change, don’t change because other people are saying oh you’re a big girl or you’re fat,” Sy’rai said to a pair of young girls a few months ago on an Instagram live, making her mom extremely proud.

Now, Sy’rai has taken another step into her beauty journey by cutting her hair extremely short, a style that’s definitely not the first choice for most teenagers, but that the young lady is totally rocking.

“You are so brave. I admire you and I love you @syraismith..... love Mommy” Brandy wrote to Sy’rai on a photo she shared of the smiling girl.

Brandy and Sy'rai are definitely mother-daughter goals, and we’re glad they are spreading such body positivity among young girls who follow them.
