Jennifer Lopez shows off giant diamond ring on wedding finger

Singer and actor Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 49th birthday surrounded by loved ones and shared photos on social media.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted a sparkling Cartier diamond ring worth $173,000 in one of the photos posted on Instagram. Read more on Twitter, @amomama_usa

As reported by Daily Mail, Alex Rodrigues had given the ring to her on Valentine's and the couple was photographed together while picking out the sparkler.

The series of photos already received more than 2 million likes and nearly 3,000 comments from her 77 million followers and showed Lopez enjoying an intimate celebrate with her family.

Lopez looked dashing in an emerald green Retrofete creation with matching high heels and delicate diamond earrings.

She explained in the caption that her birthday party was a 'small gathering with the kids and some family and a couple of close friends.'

Lopez added that the evening was 'filled with lots of laughter, tears and of course dancing,' and wanted to thank her fans for all the beautiful messages she received from them.

'What a lucky girl I am to have such loyal and loving fans and followers... I want you to know I never take any of you for granted I am eternally grateful to ALL of you!'

It is her sincere hope to continue 'to entertain, inspire and sharing everything' with her fan base and said her talent and the means to express herself is the 'biggest birthday gift God has ever given' her.

In one of the photos, Lopez can be seen sharing a kiss with Rodrigues, and another snapshot showed her sitting at the table with the diamond ring in clear sight.

Fans of Lopez can look forward to her upcoming film appearances. Second Act is completed it will be released later this year.

The made-for-TV film Bye Bye Birdie Live! is currently in pre-production, and Lopez will portray the role of Rose Alvarez.
