Russell Wilson can't take his eyes off Ciara dancing in yellow, slit dress in video

The NFL superstar is an obviously proud husband as he ogled Ciara dancing to her new single, “Level Up,” in the middle of an Award show. The song has become a viral sensation, and Ciara couldn’t be happier about spreading a message of encouragement with her work.

Ciara and Russell Wilson recently attended the 2018 ESPY Awards, and they stole all the attention with their incredible power couple stance and striking looks.

While Russell went for a casual navy-and-black Hugo Boss suit and Nike sneakers from his collaboration with the brand, his wife made head turns with her bright yellow dress.

The Toni Maticevski Fall 2018 gown hugged Ciara’s curves to perfection and featured an asymmetrical design and a high, thigh-baring slit. She completed the glamorous look with spike-covered gold Louboutins and her raven locks tied up in a high ponytail.

Hours before appearing on the red carpet, Ciara dropped the music video for her single “Level Up,” the first song she released in three years.

Her last single, “Jackie,” was released in 2015 before she stepped away from the spotlight to take care of her kids, Future Zahir and Sienna.

While enjoying a break in the award ceremony, “Level Up” started to blast from the speakers at the venue, causing Ciara and her husband to stand from their seats to bask in the music and dance to the song in front of fans.

The Shade Room shared a pair of videos of the moment recorded by onlookers, and while Ciara couldn’t give her best moves because of the restriction of her dress, she did put on quite a show.

Russell, on the other hand, was caught just looking entranced at his beautiful wife with a proud smile on his face.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet of the same event, the Seattle Seahawks star expressed how proud he is of Ciara’s big comeback to the music scene saying:

“First of all, she’s an amazing mom, but also an entertainer. She’s been entertaining for fourteen years now and doing it in the best way possible so it’s exciting. The stuff that she has coming up next is even more fire.”

After the success of the single among fans, social media has been invaded by the #LevelUp challenge, in which people all over the world have been replicating the choreography of the song and even recreating the music video in their own way.

Ciara has been sharing several clips from fans, as she expressed how happy it makes her to watch people so involved in the movement.

The title of the song is a reference to an Instagram post the 32-year-old singer made six months ago telling women to “level up” to find a husband.

The post created controversy among her female fans, as many of them took offense to the message that came across with it.

“Society needs to be paying more attention in teaching men how to be husband's and how to level up,” one user wrote.

“Woman hold the power remember that. We give life. We don’t need men, men need us.”

After being told to delete the post several times, Ciara took to her Instagram to write a statement that explained her point of view on the matter, as she recalled she reached the lowest point after her relationship with rapper Future ended and she was left being a single mom.

“I was a single mom sitting at home, and then I realized that the perfect love I was looking for was how God loves me, how He wants me to be loved, and who He was calling me to be as a mom and a woman.”

The mother of two has taken the #LevelUp movement to another level by sharing with followers three ways to level up in life, from physical activities to meditation or spending time with family.

Other artists have joined the challenge as well, inspiring and encouraging others to take the reigns of their life and level up.
