The American film producer and music manager behind the Love & Hip Hop series is also a mother to an adorable little girl, who she regularly shows off on her social media accounts.

Yandy Smith shares two children with her husband, Mendeecees Harris, 6-year-old Omere Harris, and 3-year-old Skylar Smith Harris. Mendeecees also has two children from previous relationships, Lil Mendeecees and Aasim.

Smith recently took to her Instagram account with a video of herself and her daughter shortly after the mother-daughter duo got their hair braided. Along for the ride was Smith's mother as well.

Although the pair were "twinning," Skylar pointed out that their is a difference in their braids, as hers only had little beads, while her mother's braids had nice big beads.

Although both had kept their braids in their natural hair color, they had added cream colored beads to them, with Smith's hair almost having a zebra print towards the bottom ends of the braids.

"She's the big girl, that's why she's got big beads, and I've got little beads. That's why I'm so sad now," lamented Skylar in the footage.

After the pair had showed off their braids, they moved on to another clip, in which Smith's mother also featured. The clip showed the three of them all with a leopard-printed bear ears filter that also made their voices much higher and squeakier.

"I kept my word. But what are you talking about @omereandskylar SB: My mom hates videos. Don’t let that second Video with the smile fool you." she wrote in the caption.

Smith started making a name for herself behind the scenes in the entertainment industry at an early age, when she started working at Violator Management, a company who has represented some of the biggest names in hip hop, including Fat Joe, 50 Cent, and LL Cool J.

When she started at the company, she was an intern for Mona Scott-Young, one of the most prominent women in the industry. While working there, she went on to manage names like Missy Elliott and Jim Jones.

Since then, she has launched a number of business ventures of her own. She created a lifestyle brand called Everything Girls Love, which first started as an accessory brand before evolving into the empire it is today.

Smith, who is one of the star of Love & Hip Hop, uses the reality television show to market her brand almost every single time she appears on the series.

It was also on the show that Smith realized how much the younger women would always ask her for advice on their careers and love lives, and from there Everything Girls Love became a lifestyle brand rather than just an accessory store.

She has also authored a children's book, My Blended Family, which is just the first in a series of books that are aimed at both children and their parents in a way to make difficult topics easier to understand and discuss as a family.

Being the mother of two step-children, who she absolutely adores, Smith hopes to share with other blended families, which are becoming more and more common these days, how to deal with their new normal.
