Fantasia's grown-up daughter flaunts her long, black hair in recent video

Zion, the teenage daughter of Fantasia Barrino, took to Instagram to share a video of herself showcasing her long and gorgeous hair.

In the short recording, which was uploaded on July 31, Zion was portrayed wearing a black shirt and pink sunglasses. She placed both hands up as if showing her followers that her hands were empty.

After that, she combed her hair with her fingers proving how long and beautiful it is. In the caption, Zion only added a dead flower emoji. The sixteen-year-old girl was born on August 8, 2001, when Fantasia was only sixteen years old.

Her father is Brandel Shouse, who was the singer’s boyfriend back then. Even though Fantasia won the third season of American Idol in 2004, she tried to kill herself years later.

According to People, Fantasia was hospitalized on August 9, 2010, in Pineville, North Carolina. When it happened, there was little-to-no information about the reason, but it was later revealed that she had taken a high dose of aspirin and a sleep aid.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department announced that the incident was a suicide attempt, something that Fantasia herself would confirm days later when she said she ‘didn’t care about anything.’

Thankfully, Fantasia managed to overcome those suicidal thoughts and, with the help of her friends and family, she is now a secure woman.

In December 2011, she gave birth to a son named Dallas Xavier. A couple of years later, she married businessman Kendall Taylor, to whom she has shared several experiences throughout their time together.

Recently, the singer shared a video of herself minutes before going on a surprise road trip with her ‘king.’ In the short recording, Fantasia was portrayed walking to a truck while wearing a short, black and beige dress; several bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces; and glasses.

While she was walking to the truck, she could be heard saying ‘it’s my anniversary,’ and she then held a letter that Kendall left her on one of the seats of the vehicle. It was clear that Fantasia didn’t know where they went as she asked their destination and Kendall replied with: ‘none of your business.’
