Old lady calls hospital to check on a patient and the operator can't help but laugh

An old woman found a very smart way of finding out information about a patient at a hospital. She wasn’t getting the information she needed so she decided to call the receptionist.

According to Bored Daddy, the call was strategically planned and the twist, in the end, will leave you feeling impressed with this woman.

An old woman called the St. Joseph’s Hospital. Speaking to the operator, she asked to speak to someone who could inform her of how a patient was doing?

The operator helpfully offered to assist and asked for the patient's name and room number. The senior citizen replied, “Norma Findlay, Room 302.”

After being gone for just a few minutes the operator returned to the phone. She told the woman on the phone that she had good news for her.

“Oh, I have good news, her nurse just told me that Norma is doing very well. Her blood pressure is fine, her blood work just came back as normal, and her physician, Dr. Cohen, has scheduled her to be discharged on Tuesday,” the operator cheerfully informed the caller.

Pleased with the news, the old woman on the phone thanked her and told her, “That’s wonderful! I was so worried! God bless you!”

The operator being told her she was more than welcome. Then, being curious, she asked the woman if Norma was her daughter.

The old woman replied, “No, I’m Norma Findlay in 302. No one ever tells me [expletive].” The operator couldn't help but laugh at the smart old woman.

Goes to show that aging doesn’t prevent you from being clever or cunning.
