Meghan Markle suffers awkward moment when she flaunts her undies at friend's wedding

The Duchess suffered a wardrobe failure that gave the world a glimpse of her underwear

Saturday the 4th of August marked a very important date for the Duchess of Sussex. It was her birthday and she turned 37, but it was also the day the oblivious Meghan gave photographers a peek at her lacy underwear as she stepped out of the car at St Mary the Virgin church in Frensham, Surrey.

She was accompanying her husband Prince Harry to his friend Charlie van Straubenzee's wedding to Daisy Jenks, reported Fox News on Twitter.

She was waving happily to the photographers and people calling out birthday greetings, when it suddenly became apparent that the Duchess had forgotten to do up the first button of her dress, giving the world a teasing glimpse of her sensual black lace undies.

A little while later the Duchess of Sussex realized her mishap and discreetly corrected it, always smiling and waving graciously, like a true Royal.

Nonetheless, the Duchess was looking stunningly elegant as always, laughing and joking with the other wedding guests.

She wore a dark navy dress, with a long pleated skirt particolored in lilac, pink and green. The dress, a Club Monaco creation, had a discreet, very simple bodice with tiny cap sleeves.

The Duchess had her long brown locks coiffed to one side under a flirty fascinator and wore delicate strappy Aquazzura high-heels with bows at the back

Charlie van Straubenzee is one of Prince Harry's oldest friend, since their school days at Ludgrove Prep School.

Straubenzee had been one of Prince Harry's ushers for this wedding to Duchess Meghan on the 19th of May 2018 at Windsor, where his brother Prince William stood as his best man. This time Harry was reciprocating the favor, by being his friend's best man.

Despite the little wardrobe mishap and the attacks she has been under by her disgruntled half-sister Samantha Markle, Duchess Meghan looked happy as she once again broke protocol and held her husband's hand as they left the chapel.
