Remember Thelma from 'Good Times'? She has a 23-year-old daughter who looks just like her

The 64-year-old actress recently shared a photo of daughter Britanny Rose, who is a stunning 23-year-old lady. While children of Hollywood stars often follow their parents' steps into the industry, Rose chose a very different career path.

Bern Nadette Stanis is better known for her role as Thelma-Anne Evans Anderson, the third child of the Evans family in the ‘70s sitcom "Good Times." The series enjoyed a wide range of viewership back then, and one of the show’s strengths was its team of solid actors and actresses like Esther Rolle and John Amos, who starred as Florida and James Evans.

After the end of the series, Stanis went on to make appearances on series like "The Cosby Show" and "What's Happening Now!!" but afterward, she became a book author and a dedicated mother of two.

She has two gorgeous daughters from two different marriages. Dior, with ex-husband Terrence Redd, and Brittany Rose, with her husband of 37 years, Kevin Fontana. The later has grown up to become her mom's twin, something that many of Stanis' fans have pointed out in the ladies' comment section.

In a series of pics Brittany shared on her Instagram account to celebrate Mother's Day, the stunning 23-years-old college graduate is posing with her mom while holding a vase with red roses. Their resemblance is remarkable, and it gets even better in the next pictures, which portray a younger Bern Nadette that could easily pass as her daughter's twin.

Rose sent a heartfelt message to her mom in her caption, writing:

"I am a strong women because a strong women raised me. I thank God everyday for blessing me with you mommy . I would not be the women I am today without you and your guidance in everything I do. I love you so much happy Mother’s Day to my queen." [sic]

These days is almost the norm for children of actors to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, whether is acting, singing or even behind the cameras, but Brittany is one of the exceptions to that rule.

She graduated from Hampton University in Virginia last year with a B.S. in Molecular Biology, and she's currently pursuing another major at Meharry Medical College. It seems like she's interested in gynecology after she spent the summer of 2017 as an intern for a gynecologist doctor.

But not pursuing a career on it, doesn't mean Brittany Rose can't enjoy the entertainment industry and the perks of being the youngest daughter of such an iconic actress like Bern Nadette. In fact, last June she had the privilege of meeting Janet Jackson and R&B singer Peabo Bryson at Essence Festival.

A beautiful pic shared by Rose of the moment she met Janet depicts the trio posing together with bright smiles on their faces, with Jackson resting her head on Rose's comfortably.

Bern Nadette is a proud mom, and it radiates when she's around her daughter.

Even though she hasn't been on the TV screen in years, is clear that people still remember her character in "Good Times" fondly, and she's still as charming as ever.
