HGTV renews popular TV show for a new season
Tarek El Moussa and his ex-wife Christina will return to the small screen for the eighth season of "Flip Or Flop." Fifteen new episodes were ordered.
As reported by Deadline, it will be the second season since the celebrity realtors parted ways after eight years of marriage. They cited irreconcilable differences in the court documents.
They share two children, Taylor Reese and Brayden James. Tarek and Christina kept on working together, despite the split.

HGTV announced the news on their Twitter account in a short video clip that starts with Christina saying: "Guess who's back!" Then Tarek adds:
"We are back; we are ready to flip some houses so as you know it's definitely time to go baby!"
Brenda Gibson said they're "quite the team" and she loves it when they put their heads together, while Nancy added that she loves Christina.
While Stephanie de Luca loves the show, she hopes that the "personal drama tidbits" will be left out of season eight.
When asked about the future of the show, HGTV president Allison Page said the network is "eager to see how they continue to run their flipping business.
"Flipping" is when a run-down home is purchased, renovated and sold again for a profit. They make a formidable team and have been in the industry for more than 12 years.
To change things up, the eighth season will also show how Christina hunts for the perfect home to fix up for her, Taylor and Brayden.
A few of the other episodes will also showcase as Tarek and Christina turn homeowners' dreams into reality by renovating their living spaces.
Season seven of "Flip Or Flop" airs every Thursday at 9 pm Eastern Time on HGTV, with season eight scheduled to premiere from March 2019.
