Mary J. Blige, 47, turns up the heat in yellow swimsuit while enjoying the sea in new video

Award-winner singer, songwriter, and actress Mary J. Blige took to Instagram to share a video in a beach showing off her strong and fit figure at 47 years of age.

In the short recording, Blige was portrayed a couple of feet away from the camera with the water covering up until her belly. She was wearing a yellow bikini with very fashion design and sunglasses.

The woman then started walking closer to the person recording but tripped and almost fell. She just laughed and kept walking and talking to her audience while one of her friends got in the frame and waved at the camera.

Blige pointed out that she was having a good time even though she couldn’t swim that good. After that, she told her followers that she wished they were with her and finished the video blowing them a kiss and saying that she loved them.

As soon as the video was uploaded, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @porshabelle, who wrote that Blige deserved that free time.

@truck_da_world chimed in and said that the singer looked like an athlete. @ewusie_wilson finally thanked Blige for giving a shout out to her fans and for never forgetting them.

Before going to Antigua and Barbuda, the island where the previously mentioned video was taken, Blige shared a slideshow portraying herself in denim shorts, a white tank top covered by a red leather jacket, and matching knee-high heeled boots.

Thanks to the second picture, her outfit could be seen in full detail. Her shorts were waist-high, her shoes had zips and metallic details, and her toes were peeping out at the front.

Blige’s successful career

She is considered by many as the "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul," and even though some of those titles tend to exaggerate, that’s not Blige’s case as she has released 13 studio albums, 83 singles, and has appeared in 35 films as well.

Apart from that, eight of those 13 albums have achieved multi-platinum worldwide sales. Thanks to her outstanding vocal skills and lyrics, she has won nine Grammy Awards.

Her acting career has been acknowledged, too, as she has got three Golden Globe Award nominations and two Academy Award nominations. At the moment, Blige is taking a break from the big screen and the stages. Fans cannot wait for a new album or tour, though.
