Nene Leakes shared fun picture with 'RHOA' castmates following Kenya Moore's exit

Four housewives confirmed to be returning to 'Real Housewives of Atlanta's' 11th season share a laugh as captured in a candid photo recently. The energy is high on the set despite the absence of Kenya Moore who will no longer be returning.

In the midst of the drama surrounding Kenya Moore’s exit from ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ her former castmates are having a ball while filming season 11 of the show.

In a recent photo shared by one of the returning housewives, Nene Leakes, she along with Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey and newly promoted to full-time status Marlo Hampton were captured laughing as they attempted to take a group pic.

The foursome were all dressed and flawlessly beautiful but appeared to be distracted by something funny as evident in the candid snap. It’s unclear what they were cracking up about but Nene revealed in her caption, this was a usual occurrence when they’re together.

Casting for season 11 has been controversial following rumors of Kenya Moore’s exit which she confirmed recently. According to the pregnant star, negotiations fell through when she was propositioned a “friend” rate to return to the show. Feeling downgraded, she opted to turn down the offer.

Meanwhile, as early as June, Eva Marcille secured her peach after one season on the show. She’s now a full-time member of the cast come season 11. Eva debuted on the series in January this year as a friend on season 10. In April, she welcomed a new baby with fiancé Michael Sterling and would possibly be revealing more of that in the show.

Around the time Eva was promoted to series regular, Marlo also hinted at getting her peach on Twitter. On June 13, she posted a message saying “Finally Got my [peach emoji]” which seemingly confirmed her return to the show. The reality star has been figuring in the show for quite a while now as a friend of Kenya Moore and then Nene Leakes. Now it seems she’s getting a bigger piece of the action as she joins other full-time housewives.
