Snoop Dogg's newborn granddaughter sleeps peacefully in her father's arms in new photo
Snoop Dogg is a grandfather again! His daughter, Cori Broadus, just shared a photo of her elder brother, 23-year-old Cordé Broadus, with his newborn.
The picture showed the little one asleep and wrapped in a white blanket while her father wrapped himself and his daughter in another quilt. Cori was thrilled about her new niece whose name is yet to be revealed, and she gushed in the caption:
“Brb heart is melting. Daddy and daughter goalss afff.”
This new arrival will be the second grandchild for the 46-year-old rapper, Snoop Dogg. His first, Zion Kalvin Broadus was born in January 2015 to Cordé and his girlfriend, Jessica Kyzer. At the time, Cordé, who was 20 years old, shared an adorable photo of Zion and called him “Iron Lion Zion” in of his father's stage name, "Snoop Lion."
Snoop, whose real name is Cordozar Broadus Jr., also took to Instagram to inform the world of his new status. He wrote at the time:
“Proud grandad [sic]. My son spank n grandson Zion!! Jah bless.”
Snoop has always maintained a close relationship with Zion, playing the role of doting grandfather to the most. Last month, he shared an Instagram video of himself hanging out with the three-year-old tot and teaching him to spell.
The “What’s My Name” rapper was recorded enjoying a one-on-one time with Zion who bounced excitedly on a leather couch filed with plastic letter-shaped toys. The boy wore a black t-shirt and gray shorts while Snoop donned a black and yellow Pittsburgh Steelers jersey.
He spelled out “Zion” with the letter pieces and taught them to his grandson. In no time, the lad was doing it himself, spelling his name like a pro.
The proud grandfather pointed out that the boy was smarter than he was at that age.
Now that there’s a new baby in the house, it’s going to be a double delight for the Broadus clan.
