Tatyana Ali flaunts fuller curves in t-shirt and leggings in recent picture after weight gain
Tatyana Ali shares a photo showcasing her self-love, accepting the fact that she has gained some weight since becoming a mother.
It's always a struggle for mothers to recover their pre-baby weight, and that's something that either makes them or breaks them. For the case of empowered mothers like Tatyana Ali, she has decided to embrace this struggle and accept her body for what it has become. After all, it has given her the best gift in the world: her son.
Posting about her weight struggles, she said:
"Okay-okay-mama body- she a little thicker in the back and the middle. Stead of being mad and frustrated I decided today, I’m gonna embrace new me. Love me. #selfloveselfie"
The actress' new positive outlook on life has been brought about by her happy family life, which has made her realize that she has everything she could need. Last month, Tatyana Ali and her husband, Dr. Vaughn Rasberry, celebrated two years together as husband and wife. While Ali is best known for her role of Ashley Banks on the hit show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", the actress says that her favorite roles to play are wife and mother.
In honor of their anniversary, she took to Instagram to share a sweet message to her husband Vaughn, who works as a college professor.
"Happy 2nd Anniversary to my husband, Vaughn Rasberry- my kind, generous, intoxicatingly brilliant and super sexy love. You are my sun. I am so blessed to share this life with you. #soulmate."
Mr. and Mrs. Rasberry met on the popular dating website "EHarmony" in 2015, and after dating for a year, they got married on July 18, 2016. Since then, they've welcomed their first child into their lives in late 2016, naming him Edward Aszard Rasberry.
Ali previously expressed how content she feels with life now that she is a wife and mom. Now that she has a family to take care of, acting has been ranked down in her list of priorities as all she wants in life is simply for her husband and child to be happy.
"It's amazing. Everthing feels full."
