Remember Chilli from 'TLC'? Her 21-year-old son could easily be mistaken for her brother

Rozonda Thomas, better known as Chilli, is a woman of many talents who rose to fame back in the '90s as part of one of the most successful female groups in the industry, TLC. Her son, Tron, not only shares a high resemblance to the singer, but also her passion for music.

Chilli was a dancer for Damian Dame before joining TLC as a replacement of former member Crystal Jones. She got the nickname Chilli from Lisa Lopes so that the group didn't have to change its name. TLC was one of the most successful girl groups ever to grace the music industry; only the British group Spice Girls sold more records than them at the time.

At the height of their fame, Thomas got pregnant by her then-boyfriend Dallas Austin, but she had an abortion due to the constant pressure the group was going through. They continued their relationship and had a son in 1997, Tron Austin, who is now a 21-year-old.

The boy has followed in his parents' footsteps and is a drummer, producer, and songwriter. He recently graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor in Music Production, and his proud mom was there to celebrate the huge milestone in his life.

The 47-year-old shared a short clip hugging her son and celebrating with him as he held his diploma and was wearing his graduation gown. She took the caption to congratulate her boy on his achievement:

"My TRONSTER just graduated yall!!!! @timeflybye I am soooooo proud of u. All of the hard work of many late nights has paid off!!! Now, on to the next beginning of ur life and as always n forever I'll be right there with you! I love u to pieces n then some!"

His first EP, "Reflectionz" was released on all music platforms last May, and in a clip posted to his Instagram, Tron explained that this is just the first chapter on his story and he wants "potential fans" not only to enjoy his music but also feel related to his lyrics.

The charming young man enjoys hanging out with his mother, and fans often mention how alike they look, which not only proves that Chilli has amazing genes, but also that at 47, she still looks young enough to be considered her son's twin sister.

On a pic shared by Chilli earlier this year, fans flocked her comment section with amazement at how much she and Tron look alike. One user wrote "You guys look like brother and sister...you have not aged a day," another added "Wow....You look so much alike!!! Beautiful as always!" and a third one agreed "You couldn’t deny that boy even if you wanted to lol!."

These days, Chilli is still performing as TLC with fellow member Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. The third member of the group, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, lost her life in a car accident in 2002.
