Tamela Mann's husband David declares he is 'The Black Wolverine' in hilarious video

There’s no dull moment with Tamela Mann’s husband, David. The famous stand-up comedian was recently spotted in a hilarious video where he claimed to be “the black wolverine.”

The clip, which was shared on the couple’s Instagram page, began with David showing off patches of hair on his usually bald head. The pieces stuck out in such a way that it resembled the signature hairstyle of fictional superhero character, Wolverine.

“I’m the black wolverine, with my hair looking like this,”

David began.

He also brandished a claw-like tool in his right hand.

Voices, probably that of his wife and kids, could be heard in the background as the “Mann & Wife” actor continued his comparison. He seemed to be trying hard to convince them of his heroics as he narrated:

“I’m the one who rescued the boy. …He told me ‘pull me out of the car’, so I grabbed him by the leg. I broke through the window, and I used my superhero claws. That’s what happened at the wreck. I was the first one there at the wreck…”

If there’s anything this video proves, it’s that David is a natural comic. The 52-year-old, who is also a gospel singer like his wife, gave a stellar comedy performance at the Essence Festival last month. He shared the stage with his wife who he has been married to for 30 years.

Posting a photo in celebration of their anniversary four months ago, David wrote:

“30 years ago today you said yes and made me the happiest man on earth I can’t put in to words how much I Love you Tam I’m great full to do LIFE WITH YOU. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MY LOVE.”

The multiple award-winning celebrities share four children, and are set to release their first book, “Us Against the World: Our Secrets to Love, Marriage, and Family,” in November.
