Angela Bassett turns heads in sleeveless silver jumpsuit at Michael Jackson Birthday Celebration
Angela Bassett was an absolute head-turner at the recent Michael Jackson Birthday Celebration dressed in a sleeveless silver jumpsuit.
The "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" actress has definitely not lost her groove after 20 long years, as she showed up at the star-studded event in Las Vegas looking like a beauty queen.
Angela, 60, attended the Michael Jackson Diamond Birthday Celebration, shining in a sparkling metallic silver jumpsuit which definitely highlighted her physique. She looked young and radiant as ever in her retro-looking outfit which featured a sleeveless halter design and bell-bottomed trousers.
Her brown curly tresses fell just above her shoulders, accessorizing her glamorous look with a pair of large hoop earrings. She kept her makeup simple, opting to go for a dewy look.
Michael's two eldest children, Paris and Prince Jackson, were in attendance at the party which honored their late father.
Prince, whose real name is Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., sported a red jacket that aimed to emulate his father's iconic style, while Paris chose to go in her usual Bohemian chic look. Just like Angela, she opted to go for a pair of retro bell-bottom pants for the appearance. She paired her funky bottoms with a cream Gucci t-shirt adorned with sequins and accented her outfit with a pair of silver platform heels.
In signature Paris Jackson style, she made sure to complete her hipster look with a pair of rose-tinted sunglasses and an array of necklaces.
Other attendees at the event included Tito Jackson and Jackie Jackson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Gabrielle Union, among many others.
The late King of Pop, Michael Joseph Jackson, was born on August 29. 1958 in Gary, Indiana. Unfortunately, his life was cut short due to a cardiac arrest due to propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his own home in Los Angeles. His personal physician Conrad Murray, found Jackson in his room, barely breathing and without a pulse. As Murray was responsible for administering the propofol, two anti-anxiety benzodiazepines, lorazepam, and midazolam, he was charged with involuntary manslaughter in 2011. However, he only served two years of his four-year prison sentence due to good behavior.
