Kelly Ripa shares never-seen-before pic of her three kids in 2003

Kelly Ripa recently shared a very illustrative picture regarding the difference being on vacation with a love partner or bringing their children along.

On Thursday, August 30, 2018, the daytime talk show host posted a throwback photo of herself from almost 20 years ago with her children: Michael, Joaquin and Lola.

The 47-year-old took to her Instagram account to show her friends, fans and followers that going on vacation with children is not really a vacation, more like a trip.

Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs in the world and there is no rest or break from it, which was why the co-host of "Live With Kelly and Ryan" wanted to tell people about the difference between a trip and a vacation.

PARENTING IS A 24/7 JOB

To Ripa, and the great majority of people, being on vacation is a time of fun, which means no worries allowed. But for those with children, that can be quite difficult to accomplish.

Children are often full of energy, curious and playful, and keeping an eye on them or under control can be next to impossible. The photo that Ripa posted on Instagram says it all.

BUSY BEE

In the snap, the usually beautiful and smiley blonde can be seen holding baby Joaquin with a very serious and tense expression on her face, all while Michael and Lola gather around them.

Although they were on vacation, Ripa must have spent most of the time taking care of her babies, leaving her with barely any time for herself.

FOLLOW IN HIS FATHER'S FOOTSTEPS

Recently, Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, traveled to Vancouver, Canada, to pay their son Michael, who is now 21, a visit on the set of "Riverdale."

Consuelos also stars on the show as mobster Hiram Lodge, and Michael is the perfect fit because he will play the same role as his father but as a younger Lodge.
